There is a major change in the disposal of electronics

As of September 2016, State Law requires that municipal Departments of Public Works pick-up electronics as part of the trash removal service.  Examples of electronics include TVs, microwave ovens and computers.

To dispose of your electronics, place them out the same night as your scheduled trash day. Residents will be charged accordingly based on the size of the electronics. Like all bulk pick ups, the charges will be on your next solid waste bill

TV'S AND ELECTRONICS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE CITY GARAGE ON WILLOW STREET.  PLEASE DO NOT DROP THEM OFF THERE.

Please note: you always have the option of returning your small electronic device to where you bought it.
