The City of Rensselaer would like to remind residents of important laws and information related to snow removal in order to keep sidewalks and streets safe.
Sidewalks must be kept clear of snow and ice. Please see Chapter 147; Article 1; Section 147-1 Snow and Ice Removal
Snow Cannot be pushed, blown or shoveled into the City Streets. Please see Chapter 71;Title 7; Article 33; Section 1219 of the Consolidated Laws of New York
